No, the price stated on our website for each access number is the per minute charge inclusive of VAT which you will see on your phone bill. The only additional cost would be if your provider charges a standard call connection fee for any calls. Typically this ranges between 3p and 10p across the main phone providers.

Italk247 is designed to be used from private UK landlines. Unfortunately it is not accessible from payphones.
The charges for calls to our access numbers will simply appear on your normal telephone bill from your existing phone provider.
For example, if you make a 20 minute call to the USA from a BT phone line via our access number 0844 790 0202 which is charged at 2p/min; Next time you get your BT bill you will see this call itemized as a duration of 20 minutes and a total charge of 20 min x 0.02 = 0.40p.
Your service provider may also include a connection charge for each call; for example in the example above BT charges a 3p minimum charge/ connection fee for both 08 numbers and 09 numbers. In other words your bill would show 20min x 0.02 = 0.40p plus 3p connection fee.
A total cost for that call 0.43p (inc vat). For other networks please contact your service provider for connection fee details.
Yes you can but your mobile network provider will charge you more than the advertised rate on our website. Prices quoted on our website are based on calls from UK landlines. Our access numbers have a fixed rate attached to them. We always try to offer the best prices possible and if the price changes, the access number has to change as well. We are constantly negotiating with suppliers for better deals which we can then pass onto our customers!
Unfortunately all of the Italk247 access numbers will only work if dialled from within the United Kingdom.
Yes, our access numbers can be called from any UK landline. Phone provider charging policies do vary however the largest UK phone providers follow the BT charging policy with regards to our access numbers.
You will be charged from the moment you are connected to our Italk247 international calling service, not form the moment the international call is answered at the other end.
iTalk247 cannot overcharge you! The rates advertised on our website for all access numbers are within the Ofcom guidelines (the UK telecommunications regulator). It is common practice for the larger landline service providers to adhere to these guidelines on pricing as highlighted in our guidance table in the “How much will I be charged�? section. However some providers are at liberty to vary their charging policy. We unfortunately have no influence on the phone providers billing systems, nor do we receive a penny extra for any surcharge applied. We advise you to get in touch with your service provider to discuss your billing query. Should your service provider not settle the issue satisfactorily please forward a copy of your bill to us.
